If you do hot glass work, and haven't checked out Milon Townsend's work as of yet, it it about time you do. He is off the charts!
I first learned of Milon Townsend's work when my son expressed an interest in blowing glass. While I was in the process of fitting the torches, front-loading kiln, tanks, and venting system into my stained glass studio, I happened to stumble across his book about blowing glass.

I highly recommend this book.
Glassblowers can be a bit like magicians, and prefer to keep their best secrets to themselves. Milon deserves kudos in my opinion for sharing solid and valuable information for the beginner and above, in an easy to follow layout... aka: lots of pictures!
One of the things that made his work really jump out to me, was his use of the human form.
I do massage therapy to earn my bread and butter, the irony of which may be worthy of another post on another day. Just, with that in mind it is little wonder that I would be drawn this aspect of Milon's work.

His work also includes mermaids, dragons, and realistic frogs, fish and plant life.
Here is his site.
I'm sure you will be glad you did!

Very unique and interesting, thanks for posting!Brint Morrow
